A quieter release day as we move into the depths of a surprisingly hot start to the summer – but no let up in quality. Album of the year contender DAUGHN GIBSON releases second album  ‘me moan’ – which comes with indie only free 7”. MAPS return after their mercury nominated album in 2009, former YUCK front man Daniel Blumberg releases solo début as HEBRONIX on ATP recordings (produced by Royal Trux Neil Hagerty), TOWNES VAN ZANDT, releases an album of early recordings. ROSE WINDOWS release trippy Doors/Sabbath inspired début on SUBPOP, also another début on the OGENISIS label – London’s THROWING UP. The 4th album from THE SILVER SEAS, and some stoner rock from LORD DYING from Portland. To finish we have two 7” – the latest ‘LOVESICK’ limited picture disc from PEACE, and numbered limited release from young retro indie hopefuls  THE STRYPES – P&V:{
