Our first in store of the year, and what a ruddy corker we’ve got for you…

On Tuesday February 10th at 8:30pm *7pm* THE TWILIGHT SAD will be playing live in store.

This will be a free entry show until we reach capacity. Doors will open at approximately *6:45pm*. Sweet.

The guys are touring some specially selected record stores around the country to promote their latest single release, available only at the stores where they are playing…

To guarantee entry, all you need to do is pre order the 7” HERE or the album if you want to go the whole hog HERE – these will be ready to collect, and signed for you on the evening of the performance. Your names will also be put on a guest list, and you will be given priority entry (and be able to get a good spot by the piano or on a shelf or something).

We will also be selling a limited edition Twilight Sad  pie on the night. Yikes. Yum.

let me introduce…

The Pielight Sad – Spicy veggie Haggis pie with Neeps and mustard Tatties. (v)

The Fat Cat – British beef steak, with Southwick Brewery ale and a hint of Scotch whiskey.

So what could be better, great band, great food, great records – See you there!

Following the recent release of their fourth full-length, Nobody Wants To Be Here and Nobody Wants To Leave, Scotland’s The Twilight Sad have unveiled the second official single from the album. It comes in the form of the graceful ‘I Can Give You All That You Don’t Want’ – a highlight from the band’s lauded latest LP, which has drawn rave reviews from the likes of The Sunday Times, The Quietus and Q, while topping Drowned in Sound’s end-of-year list and earning a rare perfect 10 from the site. It also featured prominently on several other annual lists including finishing second on The Skinny’s, third on Popmatters’ indie rock albums of the year and topping Any Decent Music’s Scottish albums of the year.

It sees a February 9th release through FatCat Records on special AA-side vinyl, in a limited run of 7″ picture discs, accompanied by an all-new track, ‘The Airport’ – only available through select independent record stores and the Twilight Sad online store. To support its release, the band play a run of in-store shows through February 2014.

The Twilight Sad are on the road throughout Europe and the UK in 2015.
