Pie&Film Showing 20,000 days on Earth as part of Portsmouth Festivities

An evening with Pie&Vinyl, part of the 2015 Portsmouth Festivities… as we show the mighty Nick Cave Documentary, ‘20,000 days on Earth’, whilst eating award winning pie and mash.

The film depicts a fictitious 24 hour period in the life of Australian musician, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and actor Nick Cave, prior and during the recording of his 2013 album Push the Sky Away.

Thursday June 25th 7pm – 9pm.

Tickets: £10 (pay on the evening – choose your food to book a seat – see below)

7:00pm – Food served and seated, 7:30pm film starts – 9pm Film Finishes

Choose from four pies (all served with creamy mash potato, minty mushy pea’s and gravy) –  

Abattoir Blues – British beef steak and Blue Cheese

Henry’s Dream Pie – British beef steak, chorizo, olives, tomato, sherry and butter beans

Push the Pie Away – Free Range British chicken and bacon cooked in a white wine, shallot and tarragon sauce

Murder Salads (V) – Goat’s cheese, sweet potato, spinach, red onion and roasted garlic

Choose from temperance cordials –

Where the Wild Rosehibiscus Grow – Sour Cherry, Red Grape with Hibiscus

The Boatman’s Call – Sarsaparilla

Blind Lemon Jefferson - Lemon & Ginger

Pie&Vinyl Cordial – Grapefruit and Mandarin
